Southline

  1. Southline

Our exterior cladding division recently completed an impressive project at Southline Campus in South San Francisco. Spread across 31 acres, Southline is one of the largest developments in California’s Bay Area, featuring Class A office and life science spaces. For Phase 1 of this remarkable campus, we installed striking NBK terra cotta tiles measuring 12" tall x 2'6" long onto prefabricated, unitized metal stud framing. Utilizing crane-installed framing units significantly streamlined the construction schedule, enabling our team to efficiently install products coordinated precisely within a shared BIM model. Every piece fit flawlessly, requiring zero remakes. Project highlights:

    • NBK Terra Cotta: 70,000 SF across three buildings
    • GE Elemax Waterproofing: 110,000 SF
    • Centria Single Skin Metal Panels: 41,500 SF
    • POHL Aluminum Plate Coping: 25,500 SF
    • Custom Perforated Panels & Green Screens enhancing the parking structure

Building 1 (318,000 sq. ft.) offers Class A office space tailored for technology and life science companies, designed to achieve LEED Gold and Fitwel 2-Star Certifications. The Amenities Building (29,225 sq. ft.), constructed from mass timber, features a fitness center, restaurant, bar, and outdoor terraces, also aiming for LEED Gold Certification. The 6-story parking structure efficiently accommodates nearly 1,000 vehicles. Our collaboration with DPR Construction, GPLA, Inc., DES Architects & Engineers through weekly coordination sessions was crucial in ensuring seamless integration, cost efficiencies, and schedule adherence. Proud to showcase our role in elevating the aesthetic and functional excellence of the Southline Campus!
