SteelWave engaged B.T. Mancini to assist with taking a concept rendering of a new curved facade and develop a solution for achieving the architect's intent on this existing office building in Mountain View, California. We met regularly with the architect, engineer of record, and Steelwave and, along with the help of Construction Specialties, helped design the steel framing that would support the new aluminum facade.

The facade system by Construction Specialties is entirely custom and we pushed the material to the extremes in terms of how far the aluminum can span, in an attempt to minimize the amount of steel structure required. B.T. Mancini provided the new structural steel, curved aluminum facade, as well as the steel and Kebony wood site trellises.
